BEAUGRENELLE

Shopping Mall Beaugrenelle, 2016

The enterprise JETRO France has asked Atelier AtoY to build a japanese pop-up store for drinks and food, in Beaugrenelle, Paris.

In order to preserve the brightness of the existing place, the store is simply made of wooden blocks with semi-transparent panels that difuse a delicate light on the products.

An assembly of 68 blocks, placed one above the other in a long curve, comes to create a quiet background reminiscent of a mountain. The counters located in front, serve as storage, but can also become tables used during the tasting of products.
